As an international student who experienced both the life in a host family and in a dorm, I came up with the idea of making a news story to show people what is a regular dorm is like and what are the norms and activities we have. I started with taking short pieces of videos of our dorm life including cooking, studying, watching movies and so on. I used phone instead of camera to film them and the result came out good. Then, I filmed the introduction with me as the newsman under the help of one of my dorm mate. To make improvement, I will interview or asked my dorm parent and some of my dorm mate about their experience so far and how do we like the dorm. I edited the whole film on my own which I don't find too hard with. I enjoy editing and making adjustment. The whole process is easy and fun.
